  • Complete Interchange 130 and improve key transportation corridors

  • Develop a long-term growth strategy for Brookings County

  • Expand infrastructure to support future residential and business development

• Grow the Brookings Area Workforce

  • Assist in the development of affordable workforce housing

  • Support expanded access to quality child care

  • Increase student retention from local high schools and SDSU

• Catalyze Business and Entrepreneurship Development

  • Support bio-processing industry expansion at the Research Park

  • Increase incubator and wet lab capacity

  • Recruit companies that align with Brookings County’s strengths

  • Lay the groundwork for the next generation of corporate headquarters

• Support Specific Grants & Matching Investments

  • Leverage public funding opportunities with local/private match
